Curso: HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING IN THE SECONDARY CLASSROOM
In this course we will examine the many challenges involved in reading, writing, pronunciation and storytelling for the secondary /adult classroom. We will also pay attention to visual literacy as an essential 'literacy' for teachers, and one they should be actively exploring and encouraging and helping their learners develop.
Through the presentation and application of different activities, techniques, resources, and tools, the course will focus on daily teaching skills in the English classroom in Secondary and adult education.
1.- To experience and practice teaching and learning techniques to enhance the 4 skills in the English language classroom.
2.- To examine the many challenges involved in writing, pronunciation and storytelling for the secondary/ adult classroom.
3.- To experience the use of videos in the classroom.
4.- To help students build better reading and writing skills.
5.- To encourage real participation in the secondary/ adult education classroom.

The course will be essentially participative. It includes an on-site module ( 8 hours) and a practical module ( 2 hours). Participants will complete activities related to the contents during the course.
Evaluation will be made online through CFIE Valladolid website.

La superación de esta actividad dará derecho a un certificado de formación de 10 horas equivalentes a 1.0 créditos.
De acuerdo con la legislación vigente, para la obtención del certificado se tendrá en cuenta el cumplimiento del 85% de asistencia a las sesiones presenciales. Los participantes admitidos deberán comunicar su renuncia a la plaza, en su caso, en un plazo máximo de 48 horas a partir de la publicación de la lista de admitidos. De conformidad con la ORDEN EDU/1057/2014, (Art. 10.2) de 4 de diciembre, el participante admitido que no comparezca a las primeras sesiones que supongan más del 15% del total de horas presenciales o abandone la actividad sin causa justificada, podrá ser dado de baja en la actividad y no ser seleccionado para otras actividades que se desarrollen en el mismo curso académico. Se recuerda que, según normativa vigente, las comunicaciones oficiales ya sean informativas o de confirmación de asistencia o de baja deben realizarse a través del correo educa.jcyl.es
