Curso: SPICING UP CLASS WITH INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES FOR EFL AND CLIL TEACHERS
Methodological update is essential for the achievement of educational objectives within a framework of plurilingual training. The Education Department of the Regional Government of Castilla y León considers essential to offer permanent quality training for teachers to develop their teaching skills in schools with bilingual section in Castilla y León.
Bilingual teachers are demanding specific training applied to each subject taught in this program. Also, the knowledge of innovative techniques and the use of authentic materials in non-linguistic subjects are required in our classes.
1.- To deepen understanding and skills on CLIL and EFL methodology.
2.- To develop curiosity and creativity in class.
3.- To design fun activities in different subjects for the bilingual/ESL classroom.
4.- To apply flipped learning.
5.- To know specific techniques for the assessment and evaluation process in the bilingual classroom.

3 Videoconference sessions through TEAMS platform. Sessions will be developed using an active and dynamic participation through the presentation of content and activities. Participants will have to present the teacher a practical task on how they would apply contents of the course in their lessons.
The assessment of the activity will be conducted through online questionnaires on the CFIE de Soria website.

La actividad se desarrollará entre el 23 de enero de 2024 y el 16 de febrero de 2024.
Videoconferences will be held on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, January 23rd and 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The application will be submitted on the platform TEAMS before February 16th.

This activity entitles the participants to a 10 hour certificate of training-equivalent to 1.0 credits . Absences regardless of cause, may not exceed 15% according to current regulations on teacher training.
