Curso: FOSTERING METHODOLOGICAL SKILLS FOR BILINGUAL EDUCATION
Methodological update is essential for the achievement of educational objectives within a framework of plurilingual training. The Education Department of the Regional government of Castilla y León considers essential to offer permanent quality training for teachers to develop their teaching skills in schools with bilingual section in Castilla y León.
Bilingual teachers are demanding specific CLIL training applied to each subject taught in this program. Also, the knowledge of innovative techniques and the use of authentic materials in non-linguistic subjects are required in our classes.
1.- To deepen understanding and skills on CLIL methodology.
2.- To apply main CLIL principles to the design of didactic units in different subjects for the bilingual classroom.
3.- To raise awareness on the importance of designing and developing cross curricular activities in CLIL contexts.
4.- To know specific techniques for the assessment and evaluation process in the bilingual classroom.

Profesorado - Cualquier nivel
1.- English bilingual teachers and English teachers of any level.
2.- Other teachers with, at least, a B2 level in English.
Sessions will be developed using an active and dynamic participation through the presentation of content and activities. The course consists of 4 videoconference sessions of 2 hours each and a 2-hour practical application module. Students will have to present the teacher a practical task on how they would apply contents of the course in their lessons.
The assessment of the activity will be conducted through online questionnaires on the CFIE de Soria website.

March 25th and 27th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
April 1st and 3rd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

According to current regulations on teacher training, it is essential to attend 85% of the in-person hours and to complete the mandatory module application activity in order to receive certification. The practical applications of the course must be accessible to the educational community. The day after the registration deadline, the list of admitted participants will be available on the CFIE of Soria website.
