Curso: PROMOTING CREATIVE THINKING THROUGH MUSIC AND MOVEMENT: GETTING STUDENTS TO CREATE
Music and language learning are closely related. Both are human communication through sound. Besides teaching new structures and vocabulary, language learning set to music will help our students understand the importance of rhythm, stress and intonation. We also know that music keeps students engaged and increases participation.
The main focus of the course is to develop techniques for using music and movement as forms of assessment and help students create music with lyrics, images and movement as assesment of language.
The course is appropriate for CLIL teachers and all language teachers: Spanish, English, French, German etc.

1.- Discover the effects music has on the body and the brain Practice strategies and techniques for regulating emotions and stress by integrating music into your content.
2.- Plan ways to use music to improve listening skills.
3.- Create activities to use music and movement as a reward.
4.- Practice ways to use music for promoting creativity, communication, and self-expression.

1.- Profesorado especialista de lengua extranjera o de sección bilingüe de primaria y secundaria.
2.- Se realizará un sorteo automático en caso de exceder el número de plazas ofertadas.
Each participants will create in the course his/ her own “Teacher’s Toolbox” comprised of techniques, activities, tasks,resources, and materials created specifically for his / herstudents and subjects taught.
Each teacher will create a toolbox on Powerpoint with links, resources, material to be used in their classroom.
Participants should bring their school textbooks or content to have content in which to apply the teacher’s toolbox.Participants should also bring their own earbuds and a pen drive.

El horario de las sesiones será los días 5,6 y 7 de noviembre de 16:30 a 19.45 horas en el CFIE de Valladolid.
La lista de admitidos se publicará el día 28 de octubre en la página web del CFIE de Valladolid.
Los participantes admitidos deberán comunicar su renuncia a la plaza, en su caso, en un plazo máximo de 48 horas a partir de la publicación de la lista de admitidos enviando un correo a mcoterof@educa.jcyl.es
Se recuerda que, según normativa vigente, las comunicaciones oficiales ya sean informativas o de confirmación de asistencia o de baja se realizarán a través del correo educa.jcyl.

La superación de esta actividad dará derecho a un certificado de formación de

horas equivalentes a
1.0 créditos.
De acuerdo con la legislación vigente, para la obtención del certificado se deberá asistir al menos al 85% de las sesiones presenciales y realizar el módulo practico .
